You step off the KTX at Busan Station after 2.5 hours from Seoul — now what? Plenty, it turns out, is within a short taxi or metro ride.

1. Gamcheon Culture Village

The “Santorini of Korea” — a hillside of pastel houses, murals, and cafés. About 25 minutes from the station.

2. Jagalchi Fish Market

Korea’s largest seafood market, a 10-minute metro ride away. Pick your catch, have it prepared upstairs.

3. Haeundae Beach

The city’s famous beach, easily reached by metro.
